Jordan's back in the CHI, Baby!!!

Hello Hon-Tey's!


For those of you that don't know me wouldn't have known that I am a "Foodie".  I go out of my way to eat at various restaurants in the city and elsewhere. My most recent Foodie Adventure has included Michael Jordan's Steak House in which I had the opportunity to have lunch with a friend of mine.  Upon my arrival I was surprised to see that no in your face Bulls or sports paraphernalia was strategically placed.  Its located inside the Intercontinental Hotel which is already a "shi shi poo poo" establishment on its on. However, when the #23 was placed, it was very subtle and tastefully done.  











This is NOT your go to spot after the game with your boys, but it is your go to spot for a first date, night out with the Mrs., or just a classy sit down dinner on any given day or night. I had the Crispy Chicken and Waffles (I know, typical, right!?), which was GREAT!  I later washed it down with the Dancer's Delight which almost made me reinvent the When Harry Met Sally deli scene. YES!  It was that good!   


All in all if I was I were to rate this restaurant on ambiance I would give it an 8, and food it gets a 9.  Ciao Bella, Hon-Tey's!  Check it out, tell em Yo Nikki sent ya!

Currently on my radar of fashion must have's I ran across a growing trend among men.  Upon initial introduction I was taken back quit a bit...but I quickly regained my composure and immediately thought of David Bowie and his ability to don womens clothing while still maintaining his manly edge.  Take a look at a couple of the new trends that are gracing the runways of some of the most desired designers in the industry.  Women, do you think your man can pull this off?  Men, can you see yourself carrying a "murse" with your favorite sports team logo?

Real Life Superheroes...might be in your city!

Hello Hon--Tey's!


As always I keep you updated on my radar of things that interest me.  Today it is a documentary on Real Life Super Heroes.  Yeah, you read right.  Currently, on HBO there is a show that follows everyday people who either moonlight or are full time Superheroes!  They are men and women who range in age from 21 to 65 who sole purpose is to go out help the less fortunate, scope out and prevent crimes from occurring or set up "bait" operations so a crime can happen...then they can ZOOM IN and stop it.


These individuals are not trained or hired by your local police department.  They are just regular people who like the idea of being Real Life Superheroes!  They are people who see society as troubled and have a dislike for law enforcement. Unlike the characters from your childhood comic...these Superheroes don't have names that you would be familiar with at all. Now with no further introduction I bring to you Real Life Superheroes!!!!!
